Easily undelete elements in MicroStation V7.

Fence Undelete protects you from major deletion errors by allowing you to selectively restore deleted MicroStation elements. Fence Undelete uses the same interaction as the MicroStation Delete command, but produces undeletes instead of deletes.

How Fence Undelete works

At the click of a button, Fence Undelete shows you all the elements that have been deleted since the last time you compressed your design file. You then choose which elements to recover. You can select elements individually or in groups. To undelete the previously deleted elements, you can either place a fence or select the elements one at a time. At the click of a button, the elements you erroneously deleted (and could not recover using any other method) are restored!

What about sites that compress their design files whenever they are closed?

Axiom recommends that design files not be compressed when they are closed because:

• Productivity is lost waiting for the compression process to complete.
• The security you gain by being able to recover deleted elements is lost!

Axiom instead recommends that you compress all the design files on your system once a week with InstantDiskSpace.
