Axiom releases color raster reference file editor.

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, USA - Axiom, the world’s most experienced developer of time-saving MicroStation solutions, announces the release of RasterDGN, a raster editor that lets users easily edit color, grayscale or monochrome raster images from within MicroStation

RasterDGN is an attractive alternative to high-priced color raster reference file editors for users who need to manipulate either monochrome or color raster reference files from within MicroStation. RasterDGN modifies the attached raster files directly.

RasterDGN includes the same core features as RasEdit, albeit expanded in numerous ways. A good example of this is RasEdit’s ability to "stamp" vector data into the raster file. The stamp feature has been completely redesigned in RasterDGN, resulting in support for situations that RasEdit did not support, such as filled shapes. It also now has a settings dialog box making settings changes easier than ever.

It includes such direct raster editing features as delete, copy and move based on a fence or a user-defined rectangle. Yes, you can actually delete unneeded portions of a raster image in just one step! RasterDGN also includes more advanced features, such as the ability to "stamp" regular MicroStation vector elements — like ellipses, line strings and text — into the raster reference file as raster data.

RasterDgn’s intuitive user interface makes raster reference file editing so simple that it requires little or no training for new users. Configuration for administrators is extremely straightforward, making it very easy to roll RasterDGN out at each site.
