Axiom, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
STV Incorporated and DART to be part of executive panel on
CAD standards and compliance at American Society for Quality's
annual conference.
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
USA — Axiom - the world's
most experienced developer of time-saving MicroStation software
solutions - will be part of an executive panel discussing
CAD standards and compliance during the American Society for
Quality's Design and Construction Division's Annual Conference
in Tucson, Arizona on 29 August 2006. Also on the panel are
representatives from the United States Army Corps of Engineers,
STV Incorporated and Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority.
Moderated by representatives from the Dallas
Area Rapid Transit Authority, the panel will include presentations
from Stephen Spangler, AEC Standards and Details Specialist
for the United States Army Corps of Engineers' CADD/GIS Technology
Center; Edward Lick, Information Technology Consultant for
STV Incorporated and Ivan Pena, Vice President for Marketing
for Axiom. The presentations will focus on teaching a largely
non-CAD-using audience about the importance of CAD standards
and how implementing efficient ways to follow CAD standards
companies stand to increase their profits and productivity.
The panel is scheduled from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30
a.m. The conference will be held at the Loews Ventana Canyon
