Axiom to deliver keynote speech
and three presentations at upcoming fall Florida Local Users
Group Conference.
TAMPA, FLORIDA, USA
Axiom, the world's most experienced
developer of time-saving MicroStation solutions, announces
that Axiom representatives will be attending the 2006 Florida
Local Users Group (FLUG) Conference. Mike Arroyo, Senior Product
Manager, will conduct the keynote speech and accompanying
representatives will conduct presentations and perform demonstrations.
The conference will be held 2-3 November at the Embassy Suites
Hotel located at 3705 Spectrum Boulevard in Tampa, Florida.
MicroStation Guru, Mike Arroyo, is internationally
known for his enthusiastic presentations on the benefits of
using MicroStation. He will deliver the keynote speech for
the FLUG Conference entitled "Brother, can you paradigm?"
His upcoming presentation will cover how to vastly improve
production using MicroStation V8. This keynote will start
the entire conference on Thursday, 2 November at 8:45 a.m.
In addition to the keynote speech, Axiom representatives
will be offering the following presentations during the two-day
conference:
"Working with Models in a Collaborative
Environment" presented by Mike Arroyo and Ivan Pena.
Are you new to V8? Are you not totally comfortable with the
"models" concept in V8 yet? This dynamic, tag-team
presentation will take attendees through how to take existing
design data and make it easier to use by organizing data into
models. Also, V8 tips and tricks on making models easier to
work with. Do not miss this one!

"We've All Got the Same Problems!"
presented by Ivan Pena. Take a journey into the top five time-wasting,
productivity-draining problems facing CAD shops today. Learn
what other firms have done to handle these problems and how
Axiom software solutions can play a part in avoiding them.

"Using Dimension-Driven Cells"
by Mike Arroyo. Dive into the mysterious world of dimension-driven
cells. A dimension-driven cell is one that is constrained
by dimensions or formulas. It can serve as a template for
a family of cells whose geometry varies based on the formulas
controlling it. To learn about dimension-driven cells, do
not miss this one!

Axiom will also have a booth on the vendor floor
to field any questions and demonstrate their newest MicroStation
solutions. The booth at the vendor area will also have representatives
available for a private showing of any of the presentations.
