Version Manager for V8/XM automatically saves
as many backup copies of your current design file
as frequently as you like — every hour or every
few minutes. With Version Manager for V8/XM,
you’ll be able to restore any problem MicroStation
file as it existed just before the mistake.
Version Manager for V8/XM makes backups of
your MicroStation files automatically. You set the
number of backups you want — any number from
1 to 1000. You set the time between automatic backups
from one minute to four hours.
Version Manager for V8/XM recycles backup files
automatically, ensuring you don’t use up more
disk space than you’d like. Tell Version
Manager for V8/XM to make a backup every hour and
keep five backups. On the sixth hour, Version
Manager for V8/XM will delete the oldest of the
existing five, rename the other four and create
the present backup as the last of the five!
